Countdown to Summer '26: Camp Store Funds & New Products Sneak Peak!

Hey There, Camp-y Families!
Welcome back to our YMCA Camp Greenville Countdown to Summer 2026, where we share the latest updates and what to look out for next in the lead up to camp!
Don't Forget: All forms are due this Friday, 5/15/26. If you haven't yet submitted your forms, head to the Parent Portal and the "Forms & Documents" tab to complete these ASAP.
Our pre-orders closed this week, but we've got even more to explore at our Camp Store! Camp Store accounts are now OPEN to add funds to your camper's account for the summer.
How Summer Camp Store Works: Our Camp Store will be open Sunday during check-in and Saturday during check-out for campers & parents; during these days, we will accept both credit cards and cash in-store. Our Base Camp campers will be able to visit our store for snacks, slushies, ice cream, and more at select times Monday-Friday, and will also visit during another designated time to shop our clothing and other merchandise items during the week. As Adventure campers will be out of camp most of the week, they will get the chance to visit the store on Monday & Friday.
How Much You Should Add: The amount you add into your camper's Camp Store account is up to you and has no minimum or limit, but we do recommend you consider the amount of time your camper will spend in the store during the week (see above for store visit timings for Base Camp vs Adventure). Additionally, note that there are NO REFUNDS for Camp Store, so keep this in mind as you determine how much to add. Prices of items in the store range from $1-$60, and we generally recommend adding an average of $30 in funds per camper.
How to Add Funds: All Summer Camp Store funds must be added online via the Parent Portal. We cannot accept cash or cards in the store from campers while they are at camp (cash & cards will be accepted from parents during check-in & check-out). All funds are handled through our online system. You can view your camper's balance and purchases at any time by logging into your Parent Portal.
You can add funds to your camper's Camp Store account by logging into the Parent Portal, scrolling down to the "Your Family" section, and then clicking "View Camp Store". You can then add funds to the Camp Store for each of your campers (click the "fund" button), and also view their balance and transactions while they are at camp (click the "view" button).
