Hello to Liz!

We’re so excited to welcome Liz Freeman to our year-round camp team! Liz joins Camp Greenville as our new Camp Leadership and Engagement Manager.

Liz’s love for camp & all things outdoors has grown through seven summers spent serving in a variety of camp roles, along with her achievement of a B.A. in Biology. Most recently, Liz spent the past two years with Camp Fire Heart of Iowa, where she focused on building strong community through the planning, coordination, and oversight of overnight camp, day camp, and school year programming.

In addition to camp, Liz has also served as an Assistant Training Director, which leant her invaluable experience in leadership development, staff training, and team engagement.

Liz loves helping young people connect with nature, themselves, and the community around them through the camp experience. She is particularly excited to support Camp Greenville’s leadership development program and to help YCG teens grow into future leaders, while working to foster strong camp staff connections and engagement throughout the year.

Outside of camp, Liz enjoys reading, fostering animals, traveling, and spending time outdoors hiking and exploring nature.

Liz is excited to begin building relationships with campers, families, and staff, and we are thrilled to welcome Liz into our Camp Greenville community. Please join us in giving a great big YCG welcome to Liz!
