General Packing Tips
The dimensions in the bunk image are typical in most of our cabins (but not every cabin). Creative storage options are our specialty!
Zip-top storage bags can be a great way to organize and sort outfits for the week, especially for younger campers (label each one with a day of the week!). These bags can also be repurposed to store wet or soiled laundry when campers pack to return home.
Leave valuables at home (including jewelry, nice cameras, etc.)
Battery-powered flashlights, watches, clocks, handheld fans, etc. are the way to go! Be sure to check that batteries are new so that they can last throughout the week, and consider sending extra batteries with your camper.
REMEMBER: Your camper will be spending most of their time outdoors. Please check the weather prior to packing for camp. Keep in mind that the temperature at camp fluctuates more than in developed environments.
“My biggest tip for cabin life is to practice the morning and nighttime routines with the suitcase, carrying outfits and toiletries from the bedroom to the bathroom each time.”
“Got a younger camper? Be sure to pack WITH them instead of for them...this will help them to know what they have, and where it is in their suitcase! Also, label, label, label!”
