Katy Joins the Program Team!

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from the mountain- Katy Harvill is stepping into a brand-new role as Camp Leadership and Engagement Manager!

Katy will be joining the Program Team and leading our Leadership Development Program (LDP)- guiding our teens as they grow into the next generation of camp leaders. If you’ve seen Katy in action, you know her creativity, positive energy, and passion for people make her a perfect fit for this work.

Katy graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2023, with a Bachelors degree in Recreation Management and Recreational Therapy.

Leading up her first summer at Camp Greenville, she worked at both YMCA Camp Classen and YMCA Camp Loma Mar. She brought boundless energy and fresh ideas to her role as a Division Leader for our youngest campers (Division 1) in Summer of 2024 and was awarded the Chad Fossen “Rookie of the Year” award at the conclusion of the summer camp season.

While we’ll definitely miss her incredible talents on the communications side, we couldn’t be happier for this next chapter! Katy brings a ton of experience from YMCA camps across the country, and we know she’ll take our LDP program to the next level.
