YCG says “See ya Later” to Alyssa
As she prepares to relocate and begin a new chapter in her life, Alyssa has made the thoughtful decision to step away from her role at Camp Greenville. While we will deeply miss her leadership and presence on the mountain, we are genuinely excited for what lies ahead for her!
Alyssa began working with us full time in January 2024, but her Camp Greenville journey goes back much further. She grew up here; first as a camper, then an LDP, followed by roles as a cabin leader and ultimately the Adventure Division Leader. During her time as Program Manager, Alyssa played a vital role in implementing our day-to-day summer program activities and leading our family weekends. We are incredibly grateful for the energy, care, and creativity she has poured into Camp Greenville throughout all her years with us. Her leadership, dedication to our campers, and unwavering commitment to creating meaningful experiences have left a lasting imprint on our community.
“Having known Alyssa for 11 years, it has been a tremendous honor to watch her grow into the incredible person and professional she is today. We are especially grateful that she chose Camp Greenville for her first full-time role. While we will miss seeing her every day, we are thrilled for her as she steps confidently into this next season of life.”

Camp goodbyes are never forever—just “see ya later” and Alyssa knows she will always have a home on the mountain.
Alyssa is heading to Raleigh, NC, where she will be running youth programs for the City of Raleigh. Please join us in wishing her the very warmest farewell.
