Celebrating Alex and her next adventure

After nearly six years at Camp Greenville, Alex Beavers, our Director of Base Camp and Family Programs, is stepping into an exciting new professional opportunity outside of YCG.

This opportunity sought her out and offers a meaningful chance to grow in new and exciting ways. While it’s bittersweet, it reflects the gifts, leadership, and heart that so many of you have experienced through her work. We are incredibly proud and supportive of her and grateful for all she has poured into camp over the years.

Alex has been a deeply rooted part of our community; shaping camp with her steady leadership, caring for our staff, and helping create meaningful experiences that mean so much to our campers and their families. Her influence will maintain a strong ripple effect long after her transition.

“We have been so blessed to have Alex as a part of this camp team. There is a mix of sadness and pride; sad to see someone I value so much move on, but oh so proud of her for embracing a role that truly reflects her strengths and potential. I will miss working alongside her, and at the same time I’m genuinely excited for what this next step means for her.”

Join me in thanking Alex for her years of leadership and in wishing her the very best as she takes this exciting next step. If you’d like to say “see ya later”, please do so HERE
