Last year YMCA Camp Greenville provided summer camp scholarships for
112 youth, plus over 1100 scholarships for students and individuals who
participated in our September-June programs. Each March, volunteers from
YMCA Camp Greenville call upon alumni and friends of Camp Greenville to
secure donations and pledges towards Camp's scholarship programs. Last
year's effort raised nearly $120,000 for Camp scholarships. Those
interested in helping this effort should call Jeanette Watkins at

| YMCA Camp Greenville is honored to be
one of the charities that will benefit from the BMW Charity Pro-Am. Camp
Greenville's proceeds from the events will help fund scholarships for summer
camp programs and for schools and groups to participate in a variety of
educational programs.
The BMW Charity Pro-Am, which will be played May 15-18, 2008, is the only
tournament on the Nationwide Tour where amateurs and celebrities are grouped
with Nationwide Tour professionals in a three-day better-ball competition.
Amateurs, celebrities and pros rotate between each of the three courses on
Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with the 14 lowest scoring
pro-amateur/pro-celebrity teams advancing to play Sunday's final round.
Amateurs and celebrities compete for individual prizes as well as cash
donations, which are awarded to The South Carolina Charities, Inc., charity
of their choice.
There are several ways that you can help us with this wonderful
opportunity to provide camping experiences to those in need:
