- Morning: Family Campers love to get up and begin their day with a walk to Pretty Place to see the sunrise over the Piedmont. Other brave souls with a "polar
bear plunge" (that's a pre-breakfast swim in our ice cold lake at Summer Family Camp Events). A buffet breakfast is
served at the Dining Hall at 8:00 a.m., where families gather to begin the fun! Each day tends to be a little different, with something unique to offer. The
family can choose to stay together or all head off in separate directions - either way
there is sure to be something to everyone's liking.
|
- Afternoon: A buffet lunch is served in the Dining Hall at 12:30 p.m., and then the fun continues! Some families choose to take a "rest hour" in their cabin, but there is plenty going on for those who want to get right back to the activities.
|
- Evening: Dinner is served at 6:00 p.m. each day. Sometimes it's served as a buffet
in the Dining Hall - other nights it's a special theme meal such as a Hawaiian
Luau. Evening programs are geared for the entire family and might include a talent night or
a campfire filled with songs, skits, laughter and fun for everyone. Yet every night offers
the opportunity to just relax with the other families and play board games, read, or talk.
