Kristen (Ribisl) Hindes
and Mick Hindes married in 1996 in Winston-Salem, NC. We have
remained in contact with lots of other counselors of that era. We moved
back to London in 2002 and Mick was lucky enough to be involved with the
royal family when he was detained at her majesty's pleasure for 6 years.
We are close friends with Barry and Sally Hughes who were counselors in
the 1980's/90's and have visited them in Australia several times. Barry's
love of animals at camp has translated to his native land where he has
been tracked by his local community as a lover of local wildlife. Barry
was recently found to be firmly behind kangaroos in a local park. We come
back to NC several times a year to visit Kristen's family and we hope

was a staff member from 1988-1992 serving as the Director of Marketing
and managing the CIT & waterfront programs in the summer. Linda
earned her Master's Degree (in public relations) from UNC in 1992, and
has been working at UNC ever since.
She married Errol Rainey in 1995.
They have a son -- Mark Philip -- born in 1997.
