 | Dr. Weldon Gosnell (Late 1940's) Dr. Gosnell reports: "I had
the great privilege of attending Camp Greenville for a couple of years in
the late 1940's. My memories of those years are still vivid and had an
impact on my life. The lake and your swimming partner, the hikes, the camp
outs in the Smokey Mountains (Including the bears), the smell of
breakfast, Pretty Place, the large ball field, giving the last money you
had to buy tobacco for the winter caretaker, basketball games, magic show
by George Mackey, playing table tennis with Monk Mulligan, cabin
inspection, and the trip each week to visit the girls camp. I cherish the
memories and appreciate the influence on
my life. " Email: WbGos@aol.com

 | Andy Chandler (Camp Years:
1944 thru 1948 with a one year error factor) of Augusta, GA writes:
"During our formative years everything we do and everyone we're associated
with will remain in the front of our memory bank until, and unless,
something like AD deletes it. I vividly remember 20 mile hikes with Sudie,
hand-picked pies, nights at Subcamp!" Email:
